Scones by Scone Murray
Plain, fruit and cheese, several kinds in the case at once. The A-board on the pavement calls them Dublin's best, and nobody here is arguing with it.

Breakfast cooked to order, Lavazza coffee and a counter full of scones, from seven in the morning.
The café
Brewbaker is a small breakfast and lunch room on South Frederick Street, the Georgian side street that runs off Nassau Street. The door opens at seven on weekdays, and the breakfasts are cooked to order.
The scones are what most people come in for — plain, fruit and cheese, several kinds in the case at once beside the iced slices and the apple traybakes. Scone Murray bakes them. The coffee is Lavazza, pulled on the Conti behind the counter.
Worth knowing

Plain, fruit and cheese, several kinds in the case at once. The A-board on the pavement calls them Dublin's best, and nobody here is arguing with it.

Full Irish, scrambled eggs and bacon, omelettes, pancakes, porridge, avocado on toast. It goes on the pan when you ask for it, which is why it takes a few minutes.

Lavazza beans through the two-group Conti on the counter. Whoever is on the machine takes the rosetta seriously enough to photograph it.
